Pressure-treated lumber for the frame: 4x4 posts for legs, 2x6 beams for the top and bottom rails, and 2x4 rafters for the roof.
Corrugated metal roofing sheets: These are available in a variety of colors and styles, so you can choose one that matches your home's décor.
Roofing felt: This will help to keep your patio dry.
Nails and screws: For securing the frame and roofing sheets.
Concrete: For the footings of the posts.

Step 1: Prepare the Area

The first step is to prepare the area for your patio cover. This involves clearing the area of any debris and leveling the ground. Once the area is leveled, you can lay out the footings for the posts.

Step 2: Install the Posts

Next, you need to install the posts for the frame. The posts should be placed at least 8 feet apart and should be set in concrete footings that are at least 12 inches deep. Once the posts are installed, you can attach the top and bottom rails.

Step 3: Install the Rafters

The next step is to install the rafters for the roof. The rafters should be spaced evenly and should be attached to the top rail with nails or screws. Once the rafters are installed, you can attach the roofing felt and the corrugated metal roofing sheets.
