How To Make Patio Table
A patio table is a great addition to any outdoor space. It provides a place to eat, drink, and socialize with friends and family. Building your own patio table is a relatively easy project that can be completed in a weekend. Here are the steps on how to make a patio table:
Materials:
- 4x4 cedar posts (4)
- 2x6 cedar planks (12)
- 1x6 cedar planks (4)
- Wood screws
- Wood glue
- Sandpaper
- Stain or paint (optional)
Tools:
- Saw
- Drill
- Screwdriver
- Sander
- Measuring tape
- Level
Instructions:
Cut the 4x4 posts to the desired height of the table.
The standard height for a patio table is 30 inches, but you can adjust this to your preference.Assemble the base of the table by attaching the 4x4 posts to the 2x6 planks.
Use wood screws and wood glue to secure the joints. Make sure that the base is square and level.Attach the 1x6 planks to the top of the base.
